The Kami-Con Season 5 Design Contest has STARTED! It will end 11:59 pm CST, April 20th.

The theme this year is Shio & Kosho vs The World, and you know what that means– it's a fighting theme!

Yes, Shio and Kosho have a lot of obstacles standing in their way of World Conquest, and what better way to overcome adversity than by punching it in the face? So, the congirls need some super-cool fighting outfits to kick butt in! And we want YOU to design them!

How do you enter?

That's easy! Just design outfits for them! This can be anything as simple as a rough sketch to a fully-colored masterpiece. You can design for one girl, or both! AND, you can enter as many times as you want!

The winning designs will be made into full-fledged cosplays for the girls onstage at the con, and will be featured on all official artwork! And of course, the designs will be credited to you.

There are a few guidelines to follow, though!
- Shio and Kosho need their signature Star and Moon hairpieces somewhere in their hair
- While not a necessity, Shio's colors are typically white/pink/yellow, and Kosho's are usually black/purple/blue.
- Outfits designed together usually go best together, so try to design for both for a better chance of being chosen! ^^

To submit a design, all you have to do is send it in an e-mail to kamiconstaff@kamicon.net with "Design Contest" somewhere in the subject. That's it!

The deadline is April 2nd at 11:59 pm CST. So go get designing!

C-C-C-CONTEST TIME!!!

Congoers! Surely you have been wondering what the International Egg of Mystery event is all about!

Some details are still being worked out, but in short, we're...
GIVING SHIO AND KOSHO AN ANIMAL MASCOT!

And we want YOU to design it!

There are some rules, however! You can't just go off designing all willy-nilly.

We are looking for designs of four different types of animal mascots:
- A WHITE TIGER with a SHOUJO personality*
- A RED BIRD with a SHOUNEN personality*
- A BLACK TURTLE with a YANDERE personality*
- A BLUE DRAGON with a TSUNDERE personality*

But! These are just general archetypes. Your designs can be of any subset of these categories. For example, your BLUE DRAGON can be a chameleon or other lizard or serpent-like creature. Your WHITE TIGER can be any cat-like creature. Think Pokémon in terms of creativity and versatility!

The designs should be small, cute, and gender-neutral.

*What are these personalities that I speak of?
- Shoujo - Girly anime! Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, those sorts of things!
- Shounen - Rough tough boy anime! Dragonball Z, One Piece, Naruto!
- Yandere - These are the sweet-then-scary girl types! You might want to google this one. ;D
- Tsundere - I-It's not like I actually care about you or anything! Baka!!

Does all of this sound confusing? No worries. When in doubt, just design anyway! We'll love and adore every last entry!

The four winning designs will be used in the International Egg of Mystery event at Kami-Con, and ONE of them will become Shio and Kosho's PERMANENT animal mascot!

* You may enter as many designs as you like as many times as you like.
* Your design DOES NOT have to be a full, beautiful piece of artwork. Sketches are perfectly fine.

Hello Kami-Con-goers! Season 3 is barely over, BUT we wanna involve you guys in more stuff, as always (cuz we love you guys so much <3)! We do we want your input on?

Shio and Kosho's Season 4 designs of course! Your con-girls need new outfits for next year's con, and we want YOU guys to submit designs you'd like to see your con-girls in!

There is of course, some guidelines. For starters, the new outfits should be family friendly.

Shio's main colors for the past 3 years have been white and pink/red (red for those who were here for Season 1 ). We're not saying her's can only be white and pink, but she is a light character.

Kosho seems to really like purple and black. Then again, she's a dark character, so while your designs don't need to be purple and black, they do need to reflect her dark con-girl status.

You can submit Shio, Kosho, or Both! Outfits designed together tend to work better together, so it's worth it to try both! Also, you can submit as many designs as you like!
